Goblin's Punishment.

"This tale is about not spreading rumors and discussing other people, goblins, and especially magicians and dragons behind their backs."

Any wizard could find everything he needed for magic in the goblin's shop. Including such rare ingredients as fern flowers, the voice of fish, the sound of cat steps, living stones, honest politicians, outspoken SEO specialists, and even the gratitude of children.

Anyone could. However, the goblin only had two clients. Two magicians were like two peas in a pod, similar to each other. Each had a wide-brimmed peaked hat, a gray beard, a gray cloak that reached to his heels, and the same wooden staff. And they were similar because they were brothers. However, once upon a time, the brothers quarreled for some reason. Now they didn't talk to each other. Moreover, they didn't even meet.

A goblin shopkeeper wouldn't be able to tell the mages apart. The only thing that helped him was that each of them came to him at a certain time. Both brothers lived in the forest. And a path led from everyone's home to the goblin's shop. Everyone has their own. Only not far from the shop did these paths merge into one.

Therefore, first one brother did his shopping. And on the same day, about an hour later, the second brother came. In addition, the goblin had one bad habit: gossiping about magicians behind their backs. He complained to the first brother about the second. And the second to the first.

And this would always be the case if one day a Dragon had not flown over the forest and fallen trees had not blocked the path for magician number one.

The goblin was a little surprised when the magician came to him later than usual. However, he still didn't understand that it was not the first magician who was still making his way among the branches of fallen trees, but his brother was the second magician. And the goblin began to complain to the magician, about himself.

The wizard listened carefully to all these little nasty things and gossip but did not interrupt. However, when the goblin finished, he admitted who he was.

"I'm not who you think, goblin. I am the second brother. But I should have guessed that you are not only telling me bad things about my brother but also telling him bad things about me," said the magician. "But it was a good lesson. The lesson is that you should never talk about other people behind their back. Thank you. I will punish you. Nevertheless, don't be afraid. I won't turn you into a toad or a bat like you deserve. After all, you not only offended me but also taught me this lesson. There will be some gratitude hidden in my punishment."

"You will not find peace for yourself until you once flap your wings and find yourself at a height where only birds and dragons fly, and until you hug something that cannot be hugged."
